Extended Care Program
For the convenience of working parents, St. Ambrose School offers before and after-school care for its students:
Regular Extended Care Schedule:
Morning care: 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday – Friday.
After School care: 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. (or 12 noon on half days)
Note: There are a few days when Extended Care will close at 4:45 p.m. These days are minimal and will be noted on the school calendar.

Activities offered and cost of Extended Care Program are found in the extended care packet. Registration packets are available in the school office throughout the year. It’s important to have all forms completed and turned in before your child(ren) participates in the Extended Care program. Once a child is registered for Extended Care they are free to use the program as much or a little as needed. They are also free to use the program for both mornings and afternoons. If plans change during the school day and your child will need to attend Extended Care, the school office can deliver a message to your child and his or her teacher.
The children are brought to the cafeteria at the end of the school day by their teachers. Once they reach the cafeteria they are checked into Extended Care.
When your children are picked up from Extended Care in the evening, the adult who is picking them up MUST be on the pick-up sheet. It is required that the children are signed out every night with the pick-up time and the initials of the adult listed. We are not able to release the child to another child (ex: siblings, other St. Ambrose students etc.).
