Lent

The Lenten season at St. Ambrose School offers a time for students to grow and mature in their understanding of the faith, and their personal relationship with Jesus.  From Ash Wednesday to Holy Week, a variety of activities, written and visual material, and special liturgies help the students prepare for the great Alleluia of Easter.  The Stations of the Cross for children are held every Friday afternoon during Lent in St. Ambrose Church.  Opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation are made available for students in grades 2 through 8, and all religion classes stress the importance of this time of penance and preparation.

Plans are underway for a spring concert that will unite the school community in music and song to celebrate the new life that is glorified in the Risen Savior.
