Alumni Association
Saint Ambrose, founded in 1906, claims over 2000 alumni. We are very proud of our efforts over the years in keeping close ties with our graduates. Our Development Council has worked very diligently to update our Alumni database with current addresses and phone numbers. We use this information to keep in touch with alumni by sending them the monthly school newsletter, flyers and announcements of school and parish activities, invitations to alumni sponsored events.
Each year in the month of May, we invite back to the school our alumni to attend a special Mass and breakfast in their honor. At this breakfast our Alumni Association awards monetary scholarships to graduating eighth graders who are attending Catholic High Schools.
Beginning in 1996, the Alumni Association expanded its interests to the families of our current students by sponsoring activities that raise funds to be used for scholarships for present students. In March each year the St. Ambrose Alumni Phon-a-thon is sponsored by the Alumni Association. Information will be mailed to each of our Alumni in late February.
