May Casual Day Mission Intention
A group of eight Physical Therapy graduates from Mizzou and some
of their professors are leaving the day after graduation for Haiti to
offer services to the earthquake victims. The major surgeries are over
now, but people with amputations, spinal cord injuries, head traumas,
and multiple fractures are in desperate need of physical therapy to
help restore their mobility, so they can begin rebuilding their lives.
These students need our help. Any monetary help we can give will be
greatly appreciated and they also request prayers for their safety and
the health of the victims they will serve. I have requested that this
be our May Dress Down Day Mission intention because my niece, Ann
Marie, is one of the students. I am so proud of her eagerness to serve.
Thank you for any donation you can provide that will help them make
this happen.
