Technology Committee

The Technology Committee, made up of representatives of the faculty, staff, and parents, is charged with enriching our students' exposure to technology of all types.   In 1996 the Committee laid down the beginnings of a Technology Plan, which presents an aggressive timetable for growth not only of the availability of computers to the students, but of the introduction of new elements of technology into the school's curriculum.  This technology plan is a living document and provides the direction for our school's vision of technology.

The Committee works closely with the principal to identify vision and work as a group to make a reality the hardware and software that will support that vision.

Through the efforts of the living technology plan, St. Ambrose has been able to fund the addition of TeamBoards and video projectors in each Middle School classroom, laptops for all teachers, a wireless mobile laptop lab, server and network capabilities, the FastDirect site, and other infrastructure enhancements.  St. Ambrose's faculty, staff, administration, parents, and children are eager to use technological items to enhance the curriculum and work together to resolve problems and discuss new ideas.

If you are interested in contributing to the Technology Fund, or becoming involved in technology, please contact Sr. Carol Sansone, ASCJ, by clicking here, or 314-772-1437.
