Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is the response of the Church to our Lord’s invitation to be vigilant, to keep watch and pray. Indeed, adoration suspends that moment in the Mass when the priest elevates the consecrated Host exposing Our Lord for intimate prayer and contemplation.”
